Jennifer Miars is the Owner and Principal Interior Designer of studio iDesign. Jennifer has been passionately practicing design and developing award winning projects for companies for over 18 years. Her background includes the design of hotels, resorts and spas, high-end residential, restaurants, high-rise condominiums and multifamily apartments.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas, with a Bachelor in Interior Design and a Minor in Art, she pursued her dream of creating incredible interior spaces. Jennifer came back to her roots and interned in Dallas at Wilson & Associates. She then began her design career at a local hotel company, Harvey Hotels, working as Junior Designer. From there, she pursued her interest in restaurant design at Vincent & Associates, as sole designer. Her next venture lead her to Duncan & Miller Design, as a Senior Designer, where she learned the passion of design that fulfills her today. Finally, the Principal of Sawyer Design Associates allowed her to take that passion and lead others as the Senior Associate of the firm.

Jennifer had been working for others her whole career and decided to take the next step, venturing on her own. She chose her company name, studio iDesign, relating to her hours spent in the design studio in college along with the initials ID for Interior Design. Jennifer also used a lower case “i”, contributing to the fact that there is no “i” in team and she feels strongly about this statement and the relationship she values with her clients and associates!

Jennifer works with her clients, proposing a concept, creating it and following through during construction, working with the contractor, to make sure the developed project meets the clients full expectations. Jennifer has the vision to create spaces for clients that tell a story of who they are.
